FREE GROUP CLASSES

 

IN-PERSON

JEFFERSON VALLEY MALL

Weather permitting (temp. 60F or above and no rain), we meet on the Route 6 side of the mall, white tents on the parking lot, impossible to miss!

In case of rain or low temperatures, we practice indoors, in the empty Gap store. 

 

Mondays 9:45 - 10:45 AM 

Hatha Yoga - intermediate level, some yoga experience recommended. The class begins with about 5-10 min of breath exercises (Pranayama), followed by Sun Salutations, a sequence of postures (Asana), and ends with 5-10 minutes of relaxation (Savasana). It's not an advanced-level class, but more advanced variations will be available if you have an established asana practice.

 

Thursdays 10 - 11 AM 

Hatha Yoga - gentle class, appropriate for those who don't have yoga practice yet or prefer to take it easier. This is a very inclusive, safe class with many options and modifications, so the practice is available for all body types and conditions. 

  • Please bring your mat.

  • Please wear a mask.

  • Please remember, we are not out of the woods with the COVID yet, so socializing after/ before the class is not encouraged.

  • Please let Marta know before the class if you have any injuries or conditions that may be affected by the practice.

Every time we discover new ways to practice Mindfulness Meditations.

Make sure you have space where you won't be disturbed for the length of the session.

You can practice on a cushion or in a chair. Make sure that whatever you choose is comfortable.
