Since Westchester County, NY is in Phase 3 of Reopening, besides the Zoom sessions, Marta can now offer some in-person classes outdoors with social distancing.
All public classes are FREE.

Upon registration, you will receive an email with the Zoom link.
The lower rates for private and semi-private lessons through Zoom are good until July 31st. For the clients that feel comfortable doing that, Marta is available for private and semi-private classes outdoors - parks or the client's backyard. Of course, wearing masks and social distancing applies.

Mondays 8 - 9 AM

Hatha Yoga - intermediate level, some yoga experience recommended. The class begins with about 5-10 min of breath exercises (Pranayama), followed by Sun Salutations, a sequence of postures (Asana), and ends with 5-10 minutes of relaxation (Savasana). It's not an advanced level class, but if you have an established Asana practice, more advanced variations will be available.
Thursdays 9-10 AM
(9, 16, 23, 30)
Hatha Yoga - beginners level, appropriate for those who don't have yoga practice yet or prefer to take it easier. This is a very inclusive, safe class with many options and modifications, so the practice is available for all body types and conditions. This is the class that we used to have on Tuesdays inside the mall, and then on Zoom throughout the COVID lockdown.
No registration required.
Please bring your mat.
Please wear a mask, and take it only when you are already on the mat.
Please remember, we are not out of the woods yet, so socializing after the class is not encouraged.
Please let Marta know before the class if you have any injuries or conditions that may be affected by the practice.
Have a bottle of water, we practice outside!
Yoga for Stress and Anxiety Workshop
Sunday, July 12, 1-2 PM
37 Triangle Shopping Center, Yorktown Heights, NY
You will learn:
- about the effects of stress on your body, mind and overall wellbeing
- what lifestyle changes can help to reduce stress
- breathing techniques to address an acute stress
- breath and movement exercise to calm the nervous system and balance the mind.
If it's possible to do it in the studio, $15 (paid at the door)
